This week during the Copenhagen conference on climate change, China said it would agree to proposed emissions reductions if the West would agree to a one-child policy. Let’s take a look back to 1994 and see one result of China’s one-child policy:

“MILLIONS of baby girls are believed to have been quietly put to death in China as a result of its rigid ‘one-child’ policy of population control. In male- dominated rural areas, the pressure to have a son is so strong that girls often disappear shortly after birth, giving parents another chance to ensure their only child is a boy.”

You don’t suppose the millions spent each year by the pharmaceutical companies lobbying Congress would have anything to do with this, do you? Learn to live with it. We’re all going to be lab rats soon.

“WASHINGTON, Dec 14 (Reuters) – A Democratic proposal to ban the collection of doctors’ prescription records for marketing purposes is unlikely to be included as part of the Senate’s overall health reform bill, a Senate staff member said on Monday.

“A member of the staff of Senator Herb Kohl, a main sponsor of the amendment, said the change was not likely to come up for a vote or be included as part of a package of changes to be offered later by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.”

They talk as if people taking to the streets would be a bad thing.
